5th of April, 2014, in Bayelsa and on the 12th of April in Abuja last
year.

President Jonathan has other adopted children aside from Faith Osakwe. Facts emerged recently on how the president and his wife First Lady Patience Jonathan adopted Faith and her siblings in 2000.
According to reports, Faith is the daughter of the late Engr. Ukalizibe Sakwe, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Bayelsa state and also a bosom friend of the Jonathans, who died in a motor accident in 2000. After his death, President Jonathan and the first lady adopted his four children, Faith, Arewera Adolphus, Aruabai and Abayola, and have taken responsibility for their welfare and education over the past 14 years.
