A fresh report emanating from the Nigerian social media space reveals an INEC Adhoc staff scheduled to participate in today's Edo election has passed away briefly.
A National Youth Service Corps member (NYSC), identified as Ogunjobi Alexander Oluwaseun, scheduled to serve as polling officer in the Edo election has died, Leadership reports.
Oluwaseun who hails from Oshogbo in Osun state, was a passenger on a commercial bus involved in an accident on his way to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Ubiaja (Benin-Auchi Rd.) on Monday, September 26.
There is no official announcement from INEC as at filing this news.
