Biafra land national coordinator of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mr. Chidiebere Onwudiwe who was forcefully taken away from his sleeping bed around 2am on 22 July, 2016 has since being in custody of Department of State Service without trial. Onwudiwe was finally arraigned in court yesterday October 7th, 2016 without the notice of his group, IPOB.
Speaking with the legal representative of the group, Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, he disclosed that DSS being the prosecutor was no where to be found in court as this has obviously become a norm for the security outfit.
Ejiofor also revealed that the matter was therefore adjourned to 11th or 12th of October, 2016 for further hearing.
