Australian homeowner Cheryl Judd, captured footage of two huge male
pythons battling each other for the right to mate with a female just
outside her dining room window. She wrote on Facebook:
"We had a great
view outside my dining room window. One snake kept falling and would
climb the trees and back onto to roof to have another go. He did this
three times."
One commenter, David Cranswick said they were not really fighting:
"These carpet pythons are not fighting, this is their mating courtship
ceremony. I've looked after carpet pythons for many years, these
movements are typical of courtship. Male pythons don't fight with each
other over territory or females unlike humans."
