Rochas Okorocha Appreciates 3 Gold Winning Rio Paralympic Imo Athletes With New Cars & Money



Imo State Governor,  Rochas Okorocha has surprised three Imo athletes who won gold at the just concluded paralympics in Rio by gifting them money and car gifts.

The Governor has rewarded 3 Imolites who won gold medals in the Rio 2016 Paralympic in a most wonderful way.


The athletes were presented to the Governor yesterday by the Commissioner for Public Safety, Youth and Sports, Rodney Ajaelu. The three medalists - Roland Ezurike, Nwosu Ndidi and Orji Josephine Precious - were given brand new cars and one million Naira each.

Okorocha also extended his kind gesture to some of the coaches, including Luke Ibe, known as 'Miracle coach' who led them to victory.

They sang a happy birthday song for the Governor and promised to continue to set the pace.
