MORE UPDATE: 4 High Profile Boko Haram Prisoners Was Exchanged For 21 Chibok Girls, 18 Out of 21 Released Girls Are Pregnant

More details have begun to emerge concerning the release of 21 kidnapped school girls who were abducted from their school hostels 2 years ago in Chibok Town, Bornu State. 

According to a Boko Haram commander, the release was brokered through a swap deal that involved the release of 4 high profile Boko Haram terrorists whose names are currently unknown. A disturbing report has it that 18 of the 21 freed Chibok girls are nursing mothers who have been impregnated by Boko Haram fighters while in custody. 

The freed Chibok girls are now on their way to Abuja by air. they left Nigeria Airforce base in Maiduguri for Abuja at 9:15 am Nigeria time.

RELEASED CHIBOK GIRLS PREGNANT
There are indications that majority of the twenty one Chibok girls freed on Thursday may be pregnant. our confidential sources told us, that though it’s difficult to ascertain just by mere observation, officials at the Air Force hospital had hinted that many of the girls returned with pregnancy.

We cannot verify the actual number of those who are pregnant, the source estimated that ”at least eighteen of the twenty one of are pregnant.” The degraded Boko Haram group had on Thursday, dropped off 21 of the girls at the Banki area of the state and it was learnt that the girls were picked up by military helicopter.

Also, the Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, had confirmed the release of the 21 girls, saying the release of the girls, in a limited number was the outcome of negotiations between the administration and the Boko Haram. The released girls are currently on their way to Abuja by air from the Air Force base in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
