This Christmas, there has been so much bad news and deaths resulting from domestic violence and other negative forms. 45-year-old Yaw Ponju, a cocoa farmer, has been declared wanted after he butchered his wife, 38-year-old Ama Bikama. This happened on Christmas day at Kokuma-Krom in Brong Ahafo region, Ghana.
The couple who have seven children were said to have been engaged in a quarrel when the man lost his temper and took a cutlass to his wife. The body of the deceased has been deposited in the morgue while a manhunt is ongoing to find the husband who has since escaped.
