What happened was Ashton Surber who plays in Guam for the NAPA Rovers scored a dazzling bicycle kick goal.
Then to celebrate, he ran over to point at his girlfriend in the crowd, pulled off his jersey and revealed a shirt that says “MARRY ME?”.
Unfortunately for him, right before he got on one knee, the referee showed up behind him and flashed him a yellow card for tearing off his shirt. lol.
Reports say his woman said yes to the proposal though. Totally worth the yellow card, wasn’t it?
